Well, girlfriend

is on DA, but is still a bit shy about submitting actual art... So I did fanart of two of her characters that I told her she should develope more. She hopes to get into political stuff, sooooo....

Meet Flaming Liberal Mewlie, and Conservative Kitty.

I actually like Conservative Kitty a little more, cause of the face. She's fun to draw (Note: Both these characters are female.)

Very cute! I love it! However, I still have this very weird idea that they'd make an interesting couple. What do you think? Although I think Mewlie already looks cute with Foxie, I think the idea of two different species dating is already too common. I've heard of Republicans and Democrats dating, but I've yet to see the most extreme examples of the two parties (most liberal vs most conservative) dating at least in a comic strip. Right now, I have the problem with the comic I want to create is there isn't any tension to it to make it interesting. If Conservative Kitty and Mewlie dated it would be interesting for two reasons A. Conservative Kitty is at LEAST twenty years older B. How they would cope with their extremely different views.
